New Year's health resolution

It is new year and all everyone can think of, especially women, is how to shed some few pounds and fit into that perfect trendy dress size. Well you are not alone because I joined the club myself early this month.

Starting a healthy lifestyle is never easy task, infact getting started is the hardest part, but once you begin seeing results it will motivate you to keep going. If this makes things any easier hey ...!!! Rome was not build in one day. So here are the tips ? You can join in too as I go along.
As an African origin, we are customed to eating lots of carbs and it is heart to break free from that; not to forget the salty nature and spiciness of our cuisine. Well it is actually easy to start. Here are my tips

First two weeks of starting 

1) Eat the same things as before but in minimal portions sizes.
2) Drink maximum 2litre of water a day.
3)  Include in your plan an exercise regime session of 45mins max; I will recomment you register to the nearest gym or sport centre, were you could part take in various classes that involves cardio, spinning, circles etc.....Do not stress yourself. You will be sore the fisrt week no doubt about that but, dont give up..!!!
4) If you can get your hands on Fish oil tablets or capsules; that will help your musles recuperate faster and ease the soreness. The directions on how to take them should be found on the bottle brief.
5) Go to bed early enough and avoid eating atleast 1.5 to 2 hrs before bed time.
6) Donot weigh yourself, concentrate on your state of wellbeing (feelings, emotions, mood etc....) they will improve as days go by.

My first week is almost over this Sunday and I can already see my mood has improved.
